About Branislav

Branislav Bojcic is a Yugoslavian author born in Belgrade. His first book, “I hate my brother,” was written in 2017. The book is based on the real events that took place during the civil war in Bosnia between 1992-1995. The book describes crimes committed by both sides, Serbians and Muslims in what is described to be one of the bloodiest wars in the 20th century. The book had a huge success in the former Yugoslavia due to the author’s unbiased style of writing. However, his work was not unnoticed by the authorities who committed those same crimes, and in 2018 he was forced to leave the country. Currently, he is a political refugee living in the USA.
